İSTANBUL connects Europe and Asia. It's amazing places in there.Lots of culteres were living..All people in the world should be see.I want to write some of historical places in İstanbul.
First one is Topkapı Palace :
Topkapı Palace which was official and primary residence in the city of Ottaman Sultans for 400 years of their 600-year resign ,from 1465 to 1856.The Palace has got 4 main courtyards and many
smaller buildings.
This Palace (likes the others) has got lots of rooms but one part of is very interesting for you and me now.This part name is Harem where was the sultan' s , children's and their servants lived there.İt contain more than 400 rooms because in our history our Sultans have got lots of wifes.
Another Palace's name is Dolmabahçe.
Beginning date: 1843
Completion date: 1856
This Palace which stands on an area of 110.000 square metres. The project was made by the Ottoman architect Seyyid Abdülhalim Efendi.The world's largest Bohemian Crystal Chandelier is in the center hall. The Chandelier has 750 lamps and weighs 4.5 tonnes.
The Palace has an area of 45.000 square metres and contains 285 rooms , 46 halls , 6 baths (hamam) and 68 toilets.
The another one is Çırağan Palace:
It's a former Ottoman Palace , is now a 5 stars hotel of Kempinski Hotels chain. It 's located on the European between Beşiktaş and Ortaköy in İstanbul.
This Palace built by Sultan Abdülaziz , was designed by the famous Armenian Palace architect Nigoğavas Balyan.
And İstanbul has lots of another historical places. İstanbul is going by all the people. Believe me , ıf you come İstanbul, you can understand what I want to say.
